Day cruise on the East coast on privatized speedboat " Océane"

Enjoy the exhilarating feeling of cruising along the Eastern coastline to explore Ile aux Cerfs and the other islands of the lagoon.

The speedboat "Océane" for 10 persons is the perfect ride to explore the South-Eastern lagoon of Mauritius, including the famous Ile aux Cerfs. The itinerary includes a beautiful cruise along the coastline, swimming and snorkeling in the lagoon, a visit to the GRSE waterfalls and lunch and some relaxation on a small private beach of Ile aux Cerfs.

To bring in a more local flavour, the Océane team has upgraded their menu in order to offer their clients a tasty experience on board. To do so, they use their own organic fruits from their orchard to make all kinds of Mauritian chutneys to accompany lunch. Their own range of fresh juices ‘’Lakour’’ and ice teas are offered to clients, once again using their own organic fruits. The vegetables for the salads are purchased from the local fields to support the local economy. They also bottle their own filtered (flat and sparkling) water as well as make their own ice.

All this has been a substantial investment to allow them to be more environmentally friendly.

• Privatisation of the speedboat (max. 10 persons): Rs 19,800 Rs for the full day (abt. 413 €)

  • Menu (Vietnamese spring rolls with seafood and crunchy vegetables, grilled tuna fillet with mashed potato and broccoli, ice-cream with coconut biscuits and caramel sauce) and drinks included (1 local beer, 1 soft drink, 0.5 lt water) : Rs 3,250/person (abt. 68 €) and Rs 1,625 (abt. 34 €)/child (3-11 years)
