Chef at the villa

Give yourself a much needed break from the daily chores and enjoy your holidays to the max ! On this page, we offer you one of our signature services : the rental of an in-house chef.

In most of the houses we offer on our website, the housekeeper of the villa can also cook for you - either lunch and/or dinner. These are mainly Mauritian style family meals, and you will be required to do the grocery shopping for these meals.

However, for those who want to enjoy their holidays in Mauritius to the max, Oazure Mauritius Villa Rental has developed the service of an in-house chef.

The principle is simple, a chef will be present in your villa from 8h30 to 0h00 at the latest, and his mission is to prepare all the meals of the day (breakfast, lunch, high tea and dinner).

The following rules apply for this service :

• This service must be booked for the entire duration of your stay 
• You decide with the chef on the menus at the beginning of your stay
• A chef will work for a maximum of 8 persons. A 2nd chef (sous chef) is required for villas with more than 8 persons.  
• Your chef will make the necessary grocery shopping, you will only be requested to re-imburse him upon presentation of the receipts. 
• On the day of your arrival, the chef will arrive at the villa with your first meal. 

The rate for this service is 180 € per day, you will only have to add the cost of ingredients. The sous-chef for groups of more than 8 persons will be charged at a rate of 100 € per day.

In addition to meal preparation, the chef can do a basic service at the table. 

This service must be booked for the entire duration of your stay and must be settled before your arrival in Mauritius.
