- Belle Mare is the ideal spot for beginners, with a large space both on the beach and on the water, to handle your board, close to the coral reef.

- Notice to experts looking to improve, the north of the island is for you. With strong winds almost all year round, the Nordic coast is not recommended for beginners. Cap Malheureux is one of the best spots on this coast. You will be able to sail off the lagoons and discover other places. Nevertheless this practice requires an intermediate or expert level, because of the often difficult starts and the presence of many boats near the coasts.

- For all those who are simply looking for unusual places, the south of the island is full of the hottest spots, either with Riambel or Bel Ombre.

Beyond its exceptional environment and its diversity, Mauritius hosts international events every year, such as the "Red Bull Wind Riders", which brings together the largest surf kite in the world.
