A true treasure of the 19th century Mauritian bourgeoisie, the Château de Bel Ombre allows you to discover Mauritius differently.


Combining the subtlety of traditional architecture and contemporary design, the residence and its private apartments offer you a glimpse of the past.


Its exceptional living quarters and its French garden epitomize a true corner of paradise that represents the Chateau of Bel Ombre. Located in a quiet part of the island, you can relax in a luxurious suite or on the sundrenched veranda as well as a large lounge, while enjoying gourmet meals worthy of great restaurants.


The Presidential Suite, with its combination of rustic and refined decor amalgamates traditional style and modernity and makes you feel transported into the middle of the bourgeois luxury of the 19th century. The suite has been thoughtfully furnished and disposes of  a spacious and fully equipped private bathroom.


On Saturdays, the castle's sommeliers open the cellar doors and offer a wine tasting with high quality wines.

  • 300 € / pers / night including dinner at the castle (excluding drinks) and the breakfast service


- Wine tasting on Saturdays from 18h30 to 19h30 (up to 8 people maximum):


  • Rs 2,500 / person (abt. 66 €) incl. home-made charcuterie
