Visitors to the natural treasures of Frederica will pass through sugar cane fields, grasslands, the breeding grounds of the Java deers which have been introduced to Mauritius in the early 17th century. Further into the valley, forests and river banks host the unique Mauritian biodiversity comprised of rare plants.
Guides trained by the Mauritian Wildlife Foundation will take you on themed hikes, either a photo safari in the early morning or at sunset, enjoy breathtaking sceneries, or be initiated to the ancient art of archery on 3D targets on an up-to-2km trail
